Clinical RN Trainer – Care Exchange Project

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced RN who has a passion for Education and who would love to be a part of the Care Exchange Clinical Project Team.RN Trainer – Project Care Exchange – 18 month secondmentReporting directly to Michelle Rouillon, National Project Manager, this exciting & critical role is specifically designed to assist in the roll out and training of the new Care Exchange Clinical System designed to replace our existing TRAX system.   This is a major investment by Allity as it is due time for us to have a more robust, user friendly and innovative system to support Allity’s Clinical care needs for our residents. You will be a lead ambassador for the project and be the ‘face’ and ‘expert’ to deliver and support the successful implementation of the Care Exchange Clinical system to all our Homes. Responsibilities include:Researching, reviewing and assisting in designing new end-to-end processes that support the new Care Exchange Clinical system within Allity’s standard clinical policies and proceduresDevelopment assistance in the design of all training materials required to support the training and rollout of the new Care Exchange Clinical system.  Training material will include but not limited toQuick Reference GuidesTraining manuals / user guidesTraining powerpoint presentationFacilitation Agenda and preparation documentationBecoming an expert Clinical Trainer in the newly designed Allity specific Care Exchange Clinical system.  It is essential you will have a complete end-to-end detailed understanding of all system functionality including the following core componentsAssessment PlansCare Plan build and managementCharting, Progress Notes and ReportingEvent Workflow processes ie Clinical checklists triggered by specific eventsWound Management Software embedded inLiaising and working together within the Allity Project Team and ensuring standardised approach is adopted for delivering training by the Clinical Training Project TeamFacilitating and complete management of the Care Exchange Clinical system training delivery through face-to-face and online education sessions.  Responsibility to train across various groups of users including:Care ManagersRegistered NursesCare StaffAdmin staffLifestyle staffGPsAllied Health ie PhysiosCoaching & supporting clinical staff with a view to develop strong SuperUsers of the new Care Exchange Clinical system across all HomesAt each Home Go Live post delivery of training you will be responsible for providing all Allity care staff and other users with Go Live SupportTo be successful in this role you requireRegistered Nurse (essential)Certificate IV in Training & assessment (desirable)Care/Clinical/Management/Clinical Leadership Qualifications (desirable)Substantial knowledge of Aged Care regulatory requirementsGood understanding of Allity systems especially TraxExcellent clinical knowledge and particularly versed in all Allity’s Clinical Policies and ProceduresAvailability to commit to the project for 18 monthsStrong computer skills & comfortable with using new technologyStrong in the use of MS Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPointPassionate about new technology that will enhance user efficiency and improved resident outcomesWell presented & comfortable in delivering information to groups of people.\Strong communication & interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to prepare and deliver education sessionsCoaching & leaderships skillsAble to work in a project team and dedicated to achieving key project go live datesBe self-motivated & organisedYou’ll be based at Allity Services Richmond office but upon Training and Roll out Support, you will be at the Homes delivering the training and providing Go Live support.     • Care Managers
    • Registered Nurses
    • Care Staff
    • Admin staff
    • Lifestyle staff
    • GPs
    • Allied Health ie Physios
  • Coaching & supporting clinical staff with a view to develop strong SuperUsers of the new Care Exchange Clinical system across all Homes
  • At each Home Go Live post delivery of training you will be responsible for providing all Allity care staff and other users with Go Live Support

To be successful in this role you require

  • Registered Nurse (essential)
  • Certificate IV in Training & assessment (desirable)
  • Care/Clinical/Management/Clinical Leadership Qualifications (desirable)
  • Substantial knowledge of Aged Care regulatory requirements
  • Good understanding of Allity systems especially Trax
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and particularly versed in all Allity’s Clinical Policies and Procedures
  • Availability to commit to the project for 18 months
  • Strong computer skills & comfortable with using new technology
  • Strong in the use of MS Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passionate about new technology that will enhance user efficiency and improved resident outcomes
  • Well presented & comfortable in delivering information to groups of people.\
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver education sessions
