Application Support Consultant

We currently have an opportunity for experienced Application Support Consultants who have a passion for supporting staff on a journey of operational change.Reporting directly to Michelle Rouillon, National Project Manager, this exciting & critical role is specifically designed to assist in the rollout and continued training and support of the new Care Exchange Clinical System.Responsibilities include:Work closely with the National Project Manager to provide day to day Care Exchange Clinical System support to all end-users at each Aged Care Home.  The end-users will consist of Registered Nurses, Care Staff, Lifestyle Coordinators, Administrators, and external users such as GPs, Physiotherapists, etc. You will be trained to ensure you become one of the lead ‘experts’ in the new Care Exchange system and how to operate all features and new Allity system process.Providing 1st level systems application support to all end-users relating to ‘How to use the Care Exchange Clinical System’ and system issues. Troubleshoot all Care Exchange Clinical system issues to ensure the system works effectively and escalate appropriately.To provide day to day support for the staff and ensure appropriate investigation of any errors/dysfunction.Management of support tickets logged to ensure fast and timely response and clear and concise communication to the end-userProviding re-education and reinforcement of the new Care Exchange Clinical system post go live of the rollout plan for 44 Homes. Providing system orientation to new usersDirect liaison with the Systems Administrator and Clinical Governance SMEs to escalate system issues and clinical queries that require level 2 and 3 support. Support the Clinical Governance SME to ensure appropriate standard Allity Care Exchange Clinical processes are being followed ie validation that daily, and weekly processes are completed and data accuracyProduce weekly reports to summarise Support Issues Status and liaise with National Project Manager in managing KPIsLiaise with Care Exchange Clinical Training Team to ensure Post go live support issues are understood, discussed, resolved and identify improved training practices that may be requiredCoaching & supporting clinical staffTo be successful in this role you requireSystem (Application) Support (minimum 2 years’ experience)Information Technology degree (desirable)Good understanding of clinical systems within a Health and/or Aged Care industryExcellent IT knowledge and able to understand new systems / applications quicklyIntermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office including – Word, Excel, PowerPointPrevious IT experience, supporting project implementationsSystem administration & support experience, preferably providing support to multiple sites within a company groupExperience in working in a team and managing own workload within a Support Logging systemWell presented & comfortable in delivering information to groups of people, one-on-one, face to face and via online support tools (i.e. Screen share).Strong communication & interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise and deliver support to users deadlines in a fast and friendly mannerDemonstrated ability to deliver one-on-one coaching sessionsAttention to detailBe self-motivated & organisedAvailability to commit to the project for 12 monthsThis role will be based in the main Allity state offices, must have ability to also work from your home and time will also be spent offsite providing support to staff directly at the Allity Homes. 60000 AUD Australia - VIC Melbourne - All locations Melbourne
