With 44 locations across Australia, our mission is "Making every day the best it can be" and we are looking for a person who can help us make this a reality.An opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team on a full time permanent basis.As the Assistant Accountant you will Safeguard Allity’s control environment as it pertains to the integrity of the bank reconciliation process. The Assistant Accountant will provide financial reporting and insights in relation to Allity Services Overhead costs and will provide daily cash flow reporting.Key Outcomes focus:Effective control environmentBank transactions processed promptly and accuratelyOverhead cost reporting prepared and delivered on a timely basisBusiness PartneringTo be successful:Bank reconciliation completed on a daily basis. Liaise with AR and AP teams to ensure all bank transactions are processed on a daily basisPreparation of Corporate balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis. Key issues of concern are escalated for discussion with the Senior Finance ManagerPreparation of accrual tools for Linen and Cleaning on a monthly basisMonthly processing of credit card journals in an accurate and timely mannerReview Homes Administration and IT, Telco & Printing costs and post reclassification journals as requiredComplete month end process within the agreed timetableProvide commentary on key variancesRegular review of overhead P&L accounts to ensure costs are classified to the correct general ledger codesYou must have:2+ years experienceRelevant degree qualification with a major in AccountingStudying towards a CA or CPA qualificationAbility to work autonomouslyStrong Business Partnering skillsGood verbal and written communicationIf you are interested in this opportunity apply now, we would love to hear from you.Find out more about who we are here successful candidate must provide/ undertake a current police check prior to appointment. 80000 AUD Australia - NSW Sydney
