Maintenance Officer – Thornbury VIC

Our home offers all levels of permanent or respite care and is recognised for its expertise in caring for people living with dementia.We are seeking an experienced hands on Maintenance Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis working two days per week.You will be responsible for but not limited to ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs are carried out safely in an effective and timely manner. You will maintain an excellent standard of work and present in a professional manner. You will also be involved in projects, Contractor management, WHS compliance, site inductions, equipment replacement and budget preparation. The ability to enter and monitor work requests utilising a computer aided maintenance system. Attend meetings with General Manager & Regional asset compliance manager as required. Obtain quotes as required Undertake maintenance and relocation of furniture to meet occupancy requirements. Be available to work at other Allity homes to provide coverage if required.     About You
